LOCTITE® 221 is a methacrylic acid-based thread-locking adhesive. This product is designed for small low-strength applications up to M12. The typical setting times on steel, brass and stainless steel are 25, 20 and 210 minutes respectively. This product can provide low viscosity and a separation torque of 8.5 Nm. This product is regarded as designed for fasteners that require the use of standard hand tools.
