EPO-TEK® 353ND, as the flagship product of the EPO-TEK® brand and a standard-level solution in the optical fiber industry, is a high-temperature-resistant epoxy resin suitable for -40℃ environments. With its outstanding performance stability and global recognized reliability, it is widely used in the semiconductor, hybrid circuit, and optical fiber fields, and fully complies with the two authoritative standards of NASA ASTM E595 and Telcordia GR-1221.
As a standard-grade epoxy resin for the optical fiber industry, EPO-TEK® 353ND can meet the bonding and sealing requirements in the field of optical communication.
1. Jumpers’ joint bonding: Suitable for connectors made of multiple materials such as ceramics, metals, and plastics, achieving a secure connection.
2. Fiber positioning and sealing: Fill the gap between the fiber and the sleeve to fix the fiber and seal it within the ceramic core, ensuring stable transmission of light signals in the 800-1550nm wavelength band.
3. Component manufacturing: Used for fiber component packaging, active optical alignment bonding, environmental sealing of optical components, and V-shaped slot array fixation, etc., in core processes.
4. Special scenarios: For ultra-high temperature environments such as oil well downhole fiber sensors (withstanding over 200°C), it provides reliable performance guarantee.
