The colorless-to-light-yellow formulation cures with ultraviolet or visible light and creates a flexible bond line that improves load-bearing and shock-absorbing performance.

How to Apply LOCTITE AA 3320 UV-Curing Acrylic Adhesive

Clean the bonding surfaces and remove grease, oil, dust, moisture, release agents, and other contaminants. Because the uncured material is light sensitive, minimize exposure to daylight, UV radiation, and strong artificial lighting during storage and dispensing. Henkel recommends using applicators fitted with black feed lines.

Apply a controlled amount of adhesive, assemble the components, and expose the joint to a validated curing source. A minimum irradiance of 5 mW/cm² at the bond line is recommended, with exposure typically four to five times the fixture time at the same intensity. Exposed surfaces may require higher-intensity UV radiation for a dry surface cure.

Storage of LOCTITE AA 3320 UV-Curing Acrylic Adhesive

Store the unopened container in a dry location, ideally between 8°C and 21°C. Avoid storage below 8°C or above 28°C, as unsuitable temperatures may affect product properties. Production trials should confirm adhesion, curing depth, stress-cracking risk, optical appearance, and long-term performance on the actual substrates.
