The product remains stable during application and resists unwanted movement, helping operators create controlled dots, beads, and insulating layers around components.
Its non-abrasive formulation is particularly useful with pumps, valves, dispensing nozzles, and automated application systems. Unlike highly filled abrasive compounds that may accelerate equipment wear, this epoxy supports repeatable processing while maintaining the body needed for component attachment and electrical insulation. It also provides long room-temperature storage life under the conditions specified by Henkel.
This adhesive is commonly used for insulating copper conductors, attaching lead wires to coils, securing electronic components, bonding ferrite materials, and sealing selected electrical assemblies. Typical applications include transformers, inductors, electric motors, solenoids, sensors, coil windings, magnetic components, power supplies, and printed circuit assemblies.

The uncured material is supplied as a gray epoxy paste with a typical density of approximately 1.45 g/cm³. After curing, it develops a hard surface with Shore D hardness near 85 at room temperature. Its electrical insulation characteristics and resistance to heat and water make it suitable for protecting and securing components used in demanding electronic and electromechanical assemblies.
The published operating-temperature range is approximately -40°C to 180°C. These figures are typical technical values rather than guaranteed purchasing specifications. Final performance depends on substrate preparation, adhesive thickness, dispensing consistency, curing equipment, oven loading, component geometry, and actual service conditions.
Henkel provides several guideline curing schedules, including approximately 60 minutes at 125°C, 20 minutes at 150°C, or five minutes at 175°C. Manufacturers should select and validate the cure profile according to component heat sensitivity, adhesive mass, oven accuracy, production speed, and required final properties.
For optimum performance, Henkel recommends considering a two-to-four-hour post-cure at the highest expected operating temperature after the initial cure. Alternative schedules may also be possible after process validation. The adhesive can generate significant heat when curing in larger masses, so application quantity and component temperature should be monitored carefully.
Clean all bonding surfaces and remove oil, grease, moisture, dust, salts, oxide layers, and processing residue. Apply the epoxy to the required surfaces using a suitable syringe, cartridge, pump, or dispensing system. Join the components and maintain contact pressure or fixture support during the selected thermal-curing cycle.
Ensure the complete adhesive area reaches the specified curing temperature rather than relying only on the oven-air setting. Process engineers should validate dispensing volume, bond-line thickness, component position, heating rate, cure duration, and cooling conditions before introducing the material into regular production.
