LOXEAL 75 Instant Adhesive for Tough Multi-Material Bonding

LOXEAL 75 Instant Adhesive is a one-component, high-viscosity cyanoacrylate developed for strong and rapid bonding of rubber, metal, plastic, and compatible mixed-material assemblies. Its modified ethyl-cyanoacrylate formulation provides higher peel and impact resistance than standard rigid instant adhesives, making it suitable for components exposed to handling, vibration, light impact, and concentrated edge stress. The clear, colorless appearance also supports assemblies where a dark or highly visible bond line would be undesirable.

The adhesive cures at room temperature through contact with small amounts of moisture on the substrate surfaces. No mixing, heating, or separate hardener is required. Its high viscosity helps control dispensing on vertical components, irregular surfaces, and joints where a thin instant adhesive may run away from the required area. LOXEAL 75 Instant Adhesive can fill gaps up to approximately 0.25 mm, providing greater tolerance for imperfectly matched parts than very-low-viscosity cyanoacrylates.

Key Benefits of LOXEAL 75 Instant Adhesive

LOXEAL 75 Instant Adhesive has a typical viscosity of approximately 4,000 to 5,000 mPa·s at 25°C and a specific gravity of about 1.10. This high-viscosity consistency supports controlled dots and beads while still allowing the adhesive to wet properly prepared surfaces. It is particularly useful for rubber-to-metal, plastic-to-metal, rubber-to-plastic, and similar industrial joints requiring fast handling strength.

Fixture time depends on substrate type, bond gap, temperature, and humidity. Published values include approximately 10 to 30 seconds on ABS and phenolic resin, 15 to 70 seconds on PVC, 15 to 45 seconds on steel, and 10 to 60 seconds on aluminum or zinc. Typical fixture times are approximately 10 to 30 seconds on neoprene or NBR and 30 to 70 seconds on EPDM. These times are laboratory references and should be confirmed using actual production components.

After 24 hours of curing at 25°C, published tensile strength is approximately 12 to 25 N/mm². Representative shear strength is approximately 15 to 25 N/mm² on steel and above 6 N/mm² on ABS. The cured material also provides electrical insulation, with dielectric strength around 25 kV/mm and electrical resistivity above 10¹⁵ Ω·mm under the stated test methods.

Applications for LOXEAL 75 Instant Adhesive

LOXEAL 75 Instant Adhesive is suitable for seals, O-rings, rubber profiles, plastic housings, metal fittings, appliance components, electronic hardware, automotive parts, tools, instruments, and general factory assembly. Its high viscosity and gap-filling capability make it useful for components that do not have perfectly smooth or closely matched surfaces.

The product can bond PVC, ABS, phenolic resin, steel, aluminum, zinc, neoprene, NBR, EPDM, and other compatible materials. For polyethylene, polypropylene, silicone rubber, and PTFE, Loxeal recommends using Primer 7. When curing is excessively slow because of low humidity, an inactive surface, or a larger gap, Activator 9 may be evaluated.

Published testing indicates resistance to motor oil, alcohol, gasoline, high-humidity exposure, and refrigerating gases under specified laboratory conditions. Its typical service-temperature range is approximately -50°C to 100°C. Actual durability depends on joint design, chemical concentration, exposure duration, load, temperature, and substrate preparation.

How to Apply LOXEAL 75 Instant Adhesive

Before applying LOXEAL 75 Instant Adhesive, clean and degrease both surfaces with a compatible cleaner such as Loxeal Cleaner 10. Remove oil, dust, moisture, rust, oxide, mold-release agents, and loose contamination. Apply a small quantity to one surface, assemble the parts immediately, and maintain alignment until fixture strength develops.

Avoid applying excessive adhesive because a thick deposit may cure more slowly and create white blooming around the joint. For consistent manufacturing, control dispensing quantity, bond gap, assembly time, pressure, temperature, humidity, and surface preparation. Unwanted cured or uncured material may be removed with Loxeal CA Remover after confirming compatibility with the surrounding substrates.

Storage and Safety of LOXEAL 75 Instant Adhesive

LOXEAL 75 Instant Adhesive has a published shelf life of 12 months in unopened original packaging. Store it in a cool, dry location at no more than 20°C; refrigerated storage between approximately 2°C and 7°C can help extend storage stability. Do not return dispensed adhesive to the original bottle. Review the current safety data sheet and use appropriate ventilation, gloves, and eye protection because cyanoacrylate adhesives bond skin and eyes rapidly.

For manufacturers seeking a fast, clear, and impact-resistant adhesive, LOXEAL 75 Instant Adhesive offers high-viscosity application, gap filling, strong multi-material adhesion, and convenient one-part processing.
