1565 is a high-transparency two-part epoxy adhesive designed for optical glass, lenses, prisms, plastics and precision assemblies. When used with Hardener D, it provides excellent transparency, strong adhesion, heat and water resistance, electrical insulation and low curing shrinkage, making it ideal for demanding optical and industrial bonding applications.
1565 Clear Epoxy Adhesive is a high-performance two-component epoxy adhesive designed for precision bonding applications.
When 1565 Base Resin is combined with Hardener D, the cured adhesive provides very high transparency together with good heat resistance, water resistance, oil resistance and electrical insulation. This combination is especially suitable for applications where optical clarity and dimensional stability are important. CEMEDINE states that the 1565 system has a refractive index of approximately 1.57, making it suitable for lenses, prisms and transparent bonding applications.
