LOCTITE® 573 seals close-fitting joints between rigid metal faces and flanges. This product cures when air is excluded between close-fitting metal surfaces. It is often used as a field-formed gasket on rigid flange joints such as transmission cases and motor housings. It is an ideal product for component assembly operations that last several hours. The properties of LOCTITE 573 reduce the migration of the liquid product after it is applied to the components.
