Application and Surface Preparation Guidance

Apply the adhesive only to clean, dry surfaces. Remove oil, grease, dust, moisture, oxidation, release agents, and loose contamination. Load the cartridge into the correct EPX applicator, confirm that both components flow evenly, attach the recommended mixing nozzle, discard the initial small amount, and dispense onto the prepared joint.

Join and secure parts within the available work life, then maintain alignment until handling strength develops. Cartridge sizes include approximately 48.5 ml and 400 ml, depending on regional availability. Store unopened material at 16°C to 27°C and 40% to 60% relative humidity, away from direct sunlight. For best performance, 3M recommends use within 18 months from manufacture.
