CEMEDINE developed Super XG 777 for applications that require both quick fixing and flexible durability. The adhesive begins curing through moisture in the air and forms a rubber-like bond layer rather than a brittle joint. This elastic structure helps absorb shock and accommodate differences in thermal expansion when dissimilar materials are joined. It is therefore useful where rigid adhesives may crack, peel, or lose strength during vibration and temperature cycling.
The product offers good low-temperature curing performance and can be used without heat or ultraviolet curing equipment. CEMEDINE recommends applying the adhesive evenly to both bonding surfaces, allowing approximately one minute of open time, and then joining the parts under pressure. Depending on temperature, humidity, material type, and application thickness, the assembly can develop practical handling strength quickly while full curing continues afterward.
Typical uses include bonding metal panels, plastic housings, rubber components, decorative materials, wood products, ceramic parts, inorganic boards, signs, furniture components, construction materials, automotive trim, appliances, and industrial equipment. The non-sag, high-viscosity consistency supports vertical surfaces and irregular joints, while the solvent-free formulation helps reduce shrinkage after curing and allows the adhesive to fill minor surface unevenness.
CEMEDINE Super XG 777 Elastic Adhesive is also suitable for assemblies exposed to repeated heating and cooling. Its broad adhesion range can simplify inventory by reducing the need to select a different adhesive for every material combination. However, actual compatibility depends on substrate grade, coatings, surface treatments, joint design, and operating conditions, so representative testing is recommended before production approval.
Remove oil, grease, dust, moisture, rust, release agents, and loose contamination from both surfaces. Ensure the substrates are clean and dry before applying a thin, uniform layer to each side. Allow approximately one minute before assembly, then press the parts together firmly. Maintain alignment and sufficient pressure during the initial fixing period. Lower temperatures may extend curing time, while excessive adhesive thickness can slow moisture penetration.
For the best commercial result, validate application amount, open time, pressing time, bond-line thickness, and service conditions using actual production materials. Review the latest safety data sheet before handling and store unopened containers according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
