High-strength, low-viscosity, red, methacrylate-containing thread-locking adhesive that fluoresces under ultraviolet light for monitoring.
LOCTITE® 271 is a high-strength, red, low-viscosity, methacrylate-containing thread-locking adhesive. The initial setting time for steel is 10 minutes, for copper it is 5 minutes, and for stainless steel it is 15 minutes. Can tolerate slight contamination of industrial oils. Suitable for all metal fasteners. The breakage torque on the M10 bolt is 26 Nm. Fluoresces under ultraviolet light.
