Stir the adhesive thoroughly before use and apply a uniform coating to both bonding surfaces.

Allow the solvent to evaporate for approximately 5–15 minutes. Use a finger test rather than relying only on elapsed time: the coating should be dry to the touch but still slightly tacky. Carefully align the components because repositioning is difficult after contact. Press the parts together quickly and firmly across the complete bonding area. High contact pressure is more important than prolonged clamping for developing a reliable contact bond.

Uncured adhesive residue and application equipment can be cleaned with TEROSON VR 40 or TEROSON VR 50 after confirming compatibility with the surrounding substrates. Fully dried adhesive may require mechanical removal or another validated cleaning method.

Storage of TEROSON SB 2444 Contact Adhesive

Store TEROSON SB 2444 Contact Adhesive in its unopened original packaging between approximately 5°C and 25°C. Henkel lists a shelf life of 12 months under the recommended conditions. The product may gel below 5°C, but it may be restored by slowly warming it to approximately 20°C while stirring repeatedly.
