Dow Corning 3140 RTV Coating is a high-viscosity, self-leveling, ready-to-use, room temperature hardened silicone elastomer. The byproducts produced during curing are non-corrosive. Therefore, Dow Corning 3140 RTV coating can be used in electrical/electronic equipment that is prone to corrosion. This product is supplied as a high viscosity liquid, after curing to become a tough, wear-resistant elastomer, mainly used to improve the coverage performance and thin layer seal at the interface between the lead end and the solder.
