HUITIAN 9212 RTV Silicone Adhesive combines convenient one-component processing with dependable adhesion to a variety of compatible substrates. The ready-to-use material can be dispensed directly from the package, reducing preparation time, mixing errors and equipment requirements. Its highly flowable consistency supports controlled filling around electronic parts, connectors, terminals, sensors and irregular assemblies.
The oxime-curing system is designed to provide a non-corrosive cure for sensitive industrial assemblies. After curing, the silicone remains flexible across a broad temperature range, helping absorb vibration, shock, thermal expansion and contraction. It also offers useful dielectric properties for applications where electrical insulation and moisture protection are required.
This silicone adhesive can be used for bonding, sealing and protective potting of electronic components and general industrial assemblies. Typical applications may include circuit-board components, connectors, sensors, cable entries, LED assemblies, control modules, household appliances, communication equipment and industrial instruments.
Its translucent appearance makes it suitable for applications where the adhesive should remain less visually noticeable after curing. The material can also be evaluated for outdoor assemblies requiring resistance to weather exposure and temperature changes. Compatibility testing is recommended because plastics, metals, coatings, electronic residues and surface treatments can affect adhesion and curing performance.
Published typical data describe the uncured product as a translucent, highly flowable silicone with a viscosity of approximately 3,200 mPa·s at 25°C. After curing, representative properties include Shore A hardness of approximately 23, tensile strength near 0.50 MPa and elongation at break of about 80%.
Typical aluminum-to-aluminum shear bond strength is approximately 0.30 MPa. The cured silicone remains stable and flexible across a reported service-temperature range from approximately -60°C to 200°C. Electrical properties include volume resistivity of about 1 × 1015 Ω·cm and dielectric strength near 18 kV/mm.
These figures are typical reference values rather than guaranteed purchasing specifications. Actual performance depends on surface preparation, adhesive thickness, temperature, humidity, joint design, curing time and substrate condition. Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from oil, grease, moisture, dust, oxidation and processing residue. A compatible volatile cleaning solvent may be used where necessary, but the cleaned surfaces must be allowed to dry completely before adhesive application.
Dispense the required amount onto the prepared bonding or sealing area. Allow atmospheric moisture to reach the material because curing proceeds gradually from the exposed surface toward the interior. Under representative conditions of 25°C and 55% relative humidity, a layer approximately 2 to 4 mm thick may cure within about 24 hours. Thicker sections, enclosed joints or low-humidity environments require more curing time.
Avoid disturbing or loading the assembly until sufficient handling strength has developed. Close the package immediately after dispensing to prevent moisture from entering the remaining material. Unopened containers should be stored tightly sealed between approximately 8°C and 28°C. Published shelf life is at least six months from the manufacturing date under recommended storage conditions.
