The solvent may affect certain plastics, painted surfaces and protective coatings. Compatibility should therefore be tested on a small, inconspicuous area before treating sensitive materials. The product should not be assumed to be suitable for every polymer, coating or decorative finish.

The formulation is based on a blend of isoparaffin, dimethoxymethane and ethanol. It appears as a clear, colorless solution with a typical specific gravity of approximately 0.74 at 25°C. Published viscosity is approximately 2 mPa·s at 20°C, confirming its very-low-viscosity application profile.

The product does not function as an adhesive activator and is not designed to change the curing speed or final strength of LOCTITE adhesives chemically. Its purpose is to provide a clean surface that supports good adhesive contact and reliable curing. Final bonding performance still depends on substrate compatibility, joint design, adhesive selection and correct application.

How to Use LOCTITE SF 7365 Industrial Cleaner

Spray the cleaner onto the surface or wipe the component using a clean paper towel saturated with the product. While the surface remains wet, use a separate clean cloth to remove heavy oil, grease and loosened contamination. Additional spraying may be used to flush residue away from complex parts or recessed areas.

Repeat the cleaning process when visible contamination remains. Allow the solvent to evaporate completely before applying an adhesive, sealant or coating. Applying adhesive while the surface is still wet may trap solvent inside the joint and negatively affect performance. For best results, apply the selected LOCTITE adhesive soon after the cleaned surface has dried.

LOCTITE SF 7365 Industrial Cleaner is a highly flammable solvent product. Use it with suitable ventilation and keep it away from flames, sparks, heat and electrical equipment that is not properly protected. Personnel should consult the current Safety Data Sheet and follow applicable workplace regulations.

Store unopened packaging in a dry location. Henkel lists an optimal storage range of approximately 8°C to 21°C and notes that storage below 8°C or above 28°C may negatively affect product properties. Do not return dispensed or potentially contaminated material to the original container.
